About Frontier Psychology
What is evidence-based Psychological Practice?
Evidence-based psychological practice (EBPP) starts with selecting a therapeutic approach that has been demonstrated to be effective for a given presenting concern. A list of evidence-based therapies published by The Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology of the American Psychological Association can be found here. EBPP is the process of utilizing clinical skills and the expertise of the clinician to tailor the evidence-based approaches to the individual client's values, needs, and preferences. The result is a collaborative process that leads to positive outcomes and high levels of patient satisfaction.
